Auntie Ellie, Jackson, Mike & Deeds: I am so very sorry about Uncle John. I still see him coming home in his uniform, never seeming to mind the house full of kids, always asking me “What do you know, Mags?” Our young lives were lived at Lakeside Ave.; swimming all day, eating all your PB&J, playing in the boat house, walking the point, staying for dinner, watching the sun set from the swing by the cliff, going night swimming and then sleeping over! You literally could not shake us. You are in my prayers and in my Novena to St. Martin for Uncle John. Please be well; take care of yourselves and one another. Much love-Mary

Dad, you did all the good you could for as many people as you could for as long as you could. You were a wonderful and honorable man and you have earned your rest. I know you were welcomed joyfully into the kingdom of Heaven. We were so lucky to have you, and we will carry you in our hearts until we see you again.

Grandpa there is no way I could ever begin to thank you for everything you’ve taught me during my life. From the first day to the last you were a perfect example of how a man should live. Always strong generous and kind. I would not be the man I am today without you. I will always miss you.
