CHARLOTTE “LOTTIE” MARIE COMSTOCK Obituary:
Of Derby, NY, most recently of Jacksonville, NC, passed from this life peacefully with family at
her bedside on November 3, 2024. Beloved wife of Lowell Comstock (pre-deceased); sister of
William “Bill” Achtziger (pre-deceased), Herman “Hermie” Achtziger (pre-deceased), Hank
“Heinie” Oswald (pre-deceased) and Paul (wife Heather) Achtziger; dearest mother of Dennis L.
(wife Donna) Comstock, Gerald “Jerry” E. (wife Kathy) Comstock, Marlene M. (husband Jeff)
Romano and James “Jimmy” W. (wife Deborah) Comstock; also survived by six Grandchildren
Sherri Thacker, Matthew Comstock, Melissa Lagattuta, Scott Comstock, Adam Romano and
Charlene Lundquist. Also survived by seventeen Great-grandchildren and two Great-great-
grandchildren. Special thanks to Judy DeVinney, Marlene Romano, Sherri Thacker, and Hospice
for providing Lottie compassionate and selfless care during her end-of-life challenges.
A Celebration of Life will be officiated by Pastor Colt Allen at First Baptist Church of
Maysville, NC on November 16, 2024, at 4:00 PM. Graveside services will be held on Monday November 18, 2024, at 3 PM in the Deuel Cemetery, Orchard Park, NY. Flowers gratefully declined; memorials may be made to either:
