Of Angola, NY entered into rest September 4, 2023 at age 83. Husband of the late Lucy A. (Wirth) Wygant; step father of the late Vince (late Carol) Brown, late Vernon Brown, Teresa (Clark) Chaplin and Vincent (Angela) Rovnak; brother of Ronald and Duane Wygant, the late Iva Vera and several other brothers and sisters.; grandfather of Nicole (Andrew) Colvin, Jessica (Jamie) Stone, Jennifer Brown, James (Molly) Haley, Kyle (Mackenzie) Haley, Aslin Rovnak, Alex (Dana) Haley, Devon (Shane O’Neill) Rovnak, Ethan Landrum, Lauren Landrum, Christina Haley and Francis Chaplin; also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Wygant was a long time member of the Lake Erie Beach Fire Co. where he served as fire fighter and member of the fire police. Family will be present to receive friends Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 5 - 8 PM at the Addison Funeral Home Inc. 262 N. Main Street, Angola, NY. Where closing prayers will follow at 8 PM. Interment services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11 AM in Holy Cross Cemetery, Angola, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lake Erie Beach Fire Co., 9483 Lakeshore Rd. Angola, NY 14006
