I served in the Marine Corps with Michael J Speidel. To his Marine brothers he was known as Spidey. For the last 3 or 4 years I have been trying to track him down and invite him to our squadron reunion we hold in November. Tonight while doing another search I came across his obituary. My heart felt condolences go out to Spidey’s family and friends.

RIP Brother... Thankful for your service, thankful for your friendship... Thank you for the laughs, the banter, the eye rolls and unspoken words. You will be missed. I got this watch battle; you rest now. Put your feet up, you deserve to celebrate the after life with all those I know were waiting for you. You were a man of integrity, a man with the biggest heart and such a kind sole. You were loved by all who knew you... You touched so many lives and have left so many broken hearted and in shock with your passing. We all have great memories and we will cherish them for the rest of our lives.
