Janice was friends with our mom, Loretta at the Eden nursing and rehab. They ate at the same table. She looked out for our mom. She was a smart and loving friend. She would tell us about her favorite recipes and about her trip to Italy when she was young. She loved music. She played violin when she was in high school. I would bring my guitar to the nursing home and she always requested "Mansion Over the Hill Top"
Don't think me poor or deserted or lonely
I'm not discouraged I'm heaven bound
I'm but a pilgrim in search of the city
I want a mansion, a harp and a crown
I've got a mansion just over the hilltop
In that bright land where we'll never grow old
And some day yonder we will never more wander
But walk on streets that are purest gold
Rest in Peace, Janice
Mark (Loretta's son)

My condolences to Jan's family at this time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I miss her coming to my office at Eden Rehab and talking to me, telling me stories of her life.
