Of the Cattaraugus Seneca Territory passed away, Tuesday, February 25, 2020, in Roswell Park Cancer Institute. He was 69. Beloved husband of Ramona Williams; loving father of John (Sheri), Cochise (Diane), Jared, Jacob (Analyn), Jeremiah (Alyssa), Amy, Heaven, Sarah and Miranda Williams. Brother of Esther, James and the late Daniel and Timothy Williams. Also survived by Honorary daughter Amy Jimerson, 16 grandchildren: John Mathew (Kayla), Mary, Joshua, Gracie, Alijah, Anthony (Juanita), Veronica (Jacob), Jordyn, Jocelyn, Aryana, Damien Anthony, Dominic, Isaak, Alexander, Kaia, and Selah, and 4 great grandchildren: Leo, Ivy, Mordecai, Zeddicus. Friends may call at the James Williams’ residence, 11900 Brant Reservation Road, Irving NY, on Friday after 3 PM and Saturday. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 11 AM in the Wesleyan Church, 12728 Rt. 438 Irving, NY (Please assemble at Church). Rev. John was a member of the Beaver Clan. He was a former construction and iron worker, a police officer for the town of Hanover, Silver Creek, North Collins and a Marshall for the Seneca Nation. His greatest passion was serving as a minister in the Southwest for 35 years.
