Christopher is a stellar, soldier for the country. Then Christopher took on the challenges of being a police officer. Christopher nevered shyed away from dangerous assignments. Those assignments Earning him the distinguished title of NYPD Detective. Christopher made lesser men insecure with his intelligence, knowledge of high level security matters that make this country safe!!!! All while being family man and father.
I know Christopher will continue to secure our worlds from a Over Watch Position
Secure in peace

Chris and I served in Iraq together. We traveled around the country like gypsies training the Iraqi army and he always had a smile on his face and a joke ready.
Chris and I kept in touch over the years and our calls always lasted hours. We talked about our kids and grandkids, and everything else we had done since our last call.
I already miss you my friend, but Chris I will see you again.
To his family, thank you for sharing him with me, my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

This is such devastating news. Chris was a staple at our YMCA. He knew everyone's name and stopped to talk and ask staff how they and their families were. He always spoke about his family and beamed with pride. He took the time to speak with his fellow members and had formed many friendships along the way. Our Y will not be the same without him. We all send our deepest condolences to his family! Rest in sweetest peace, Chris. You will be missed around here!

Chis was truly one of a kind. I will never forget all of the good times we had working Midnights in the 75Pct. Hanging out by the ball field. You running to the gas station to get us more Beverages, and the hundreds of laughs we had. You have left an incredible impact on all of those who had the privilege to know you and be your friend.

My deepest condolences to the Miller family. Chris was without a doubt, one of the funniest, most confident, sincere, and caring individuals I have ever had the good fortune to know and work with. I will never forget his unique way of telling stories or of his particular way with words. It was as if he had a language all his own. He always had a smile and was one of the most positive individuals I knew. He had the type of personality that, even if you met him only once, you would never forget him. I can see you strutting around in Heaven barking that Marine Corps "Hooah" you love so much. It'll make it that much easier to find you in the hereafter. Rest easy my friend. I will see you again.

My deepest condolences to the Miller family. May you be comforted by the knowledge that Chris was a leader that troops wanted to follow in the most challenging situations. He is again with some of those warriors in eternity and watches over those that still remain here until we can meet again.

Full of Life and Lived it to the fullest. Chris would always share his adventures with his sons, and couldn’t wait for the next one. Even if he was just sitting with them playing a video game, he was an amazing Dad. He was an amazing person, always caring and concerned for everyone. Every Sunday, I would see him, my dog adored him. She knew that when Chris was here, she was going to get half his dinner. He was totally selfless which is such a rare quality in a person. When I was introduced to him by his name, all I could do was say to him “ur my surfer dude”, we laughed and the name stuck. Rest In Peace my surfer dude, GG and I miss u now and always

Chris was also a proud leatherneck. He was a former US Marine.
This is from Chris’s LinkedIn
I have spent my entire adult career involved in the military and law enforcement. During this time period, I have also had the opportunity to work in many interesting and compelling assignments. These experiences have taken me around the world, and given me the opportunity to work with many other professionals, leading me in many thoughtful directions that I may have not ventured into myself. All in all, it's been a very rewarding experience...but I still feel the need to keep going. I will continue to apply myself in some manner where I may attempt to bring all of these vastly different experiences together. Even though each one has a special place, with its own cultural and intellectual diversity applied in each situation, I still find that there are common fabrics among most. It is because of this unique perspective and the necessity to serve in varied roles that I find both thought provoking and complex, I can continue to evolve. Education is never ending, and neither is the ability to find answers to questions that we may not have dreamed possible. Where that road takes us, may not be a direction we would have navigated ourselves naturally, but it remains the path we need to travel on. "Life's a journey, not a destination" (Aerosmith, "Amazing",1993-original quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson).
