John David Dawson “ Daz”
The Man, The Myth ,The Legend passed into his next adventure, August 26, 2018 in Glasgow, KY. John was a wandering spirit and lived in many places including Idaho, California, Texas, Louisiana and Minesota, just to name a few. John was born in Buffalo, NY May 20, 1971 , being the self proclaimed favorite son of James P. and the late Mary Ann Dawson. John is survived by many friends and family and has passed his super hero genes on to his sons Anthony Dawson and Jacob Huen. Survivors include his father James P. ( step mother, Judith) Dawson, brother; Steven (Vanessa), sisters; Michaelene (Chris) and Amanda, nephew; Sam and nieces; Amaya and Marriana, Uncles; Carlos (Nancy) Bilbao and John M. (Terry) Dawson as well as many cousins. John is also remembered by his family of friends; Paul Even, Christian Hagans, Fonz and Calleen Gourdin, Keith Sojda, Darrell Elliott, Eli Harris, Eric Jablonski, Clint Small, Dawn Nott, Georgia Ann Taskos, Cesare Wright and many others. Johns furry family D’Artagnan and Star also share our sorrow. John was a fun compassionate and generous friend. You would have liked him too. He is preceeded by and is rejoining his cherrished mother Mary Ann Dawson and grandparents; Frances “Ninga” Magro, John “Papa” Magro, John F. Dawson and Elda Beeman as well as his uncle Steven (Linda) Bilbao. John loved ice hockey, music and cooking. His mother and grandmother shared the secrets of Italian cooking with John and he took the family spaghetti sauce recipe with him. He leaves us with notebooks filled with inovative ideas, songs and poetry. Family will be present to receive friends Thursday, September 6, from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Addison Funeral Home Inc. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 7, at 10 AM in Most Precious Blood Church, Angola, NY.
