I am heartbroken thinking about the loss of Cleo. My family has lived next door to her and Charlie for years. As a kid, my brother and I, would often run over to her house to escape and drink orange crush from the fridge downstairs, eat M&Ms from her green candy dish in the living room, pet her Irish settlers (Lady & Clancy), and the list goes on. We spent all our holidays and birthdays with her, she was always so generous. Even when it was not your birthday she would have her "Ho Hum" gift. As I got older, she became my confident telling her about all my problems and boy crushes- so much so, that she stopped calling the boys by their names, she would just refer to the snodgrass #37. When I went away to college- she continued to keep in contact and send me messages, and cards. I would visit when I was on breaks. Unfortunately the visits and the cards got further and further apart. I regret that I have not seen her in the last couple of years. I had attempted to visit every time I was in town, but we could never connect. I am filled with much regret and sorrow now that she has gone. I am especially sad that she has not met my new baby, John. But I will be sure to tell him all about her and all her kindness. I plan on donating toys to the local Childerns Hospital every years during Christmas in Cleo's name to continue her memory and to allow her kindness to continue on. I am sorry that i can not attend her funeral, for I am living in Florida now and just could not get the time away. My deepest condolences to her family.

I loved going bowling with Aunt Cleo at Chicks. I can't walk into a bowling alley without thinking of her.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Cleo. Living out of town I haven't kept in touch as well as I should have. I have so many wonderful memories of things Aunt Cleo and I did when I was young and spending the summer with my grandparents. I'll miss you Aunt Cleo, and I'll always love you.
Kathy
