Obituary of P. Allen Pearson

P. Allen Pearson Of Derby, NY. Allen was born August 30, 1946 and passed away peacefully, December 5, 2025, with his family at his side, he was 79. Beloved husband of 60 years to Karen Pearson, who remained his steadfast companion throughout their long and cherished life together. Loving father of two daughters, Paula Dubreville and Diane (Michael) Gibbons, who will forever carry his love and guidance in their hearts. He was the proud grandfather of Paige, Matthew, Gabrielle Dubreville, Kade, Brenden, Mitchell and Erin McGarrity- each of whom brought him immense joy throughout the years. Allen devoted many years to his career at National Fuel, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability and genuine camaraderie with colleagues. His steady nature, quite humor and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He spent many summer and fall seasons at his family cottage on Canadohta Lake. He loved fishing with and without his grandchildren. He also loved bowling at Leisure Land & Chicks, where he was treasurer for many years. Allen’s legacy of warmth, integrity and devotion to family will continue to live on through the many lives he touched. The family will be present for visitation on Tuesday, December 9th from 2:00 PM-7:00 PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY. Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 10th at 10:00AM in the First Lutheran Church, 66 Arthur St. Blasdell, NY.
