Sack, Joanne S. (nee Schiappa) Of Angola, NY entered into rest June 2, 2025 at age 88. Wife of the late Salvatore Sack; dearest mother of Anna (Steven) Cameron, John (Sandra) Sack, Salvatore (Julie) Sack and Judi (Jason) Milks; Sister of James (Jackie) Schiappa. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. Joanne and her husband Salvatore were voted Town of Evans “Citizens of the Year” in 1985, Joanne was Town of Evans “Business and Professional Woman of the Year” in 1988, and she served as a Eucharistic Minister at Most Precious Blood Church for many years where she was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Joanne was a proud member of the Friends of the Village of Angola and the Lake Shore Central Alumni Assn. and an Honorary member of the Lake Erie Beach Volunteer Fire Co. Family will be present to receive friends Friday, June 6, 2025 from 4 – 8 PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY where prayers will be said Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Most Precious Blood Church, Angola, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Most Precious Blood Parish, Angola Volunteer Fire Department or Be Like Banks Foundation.
