JOE ANZALONE
My brother my friend
From our early start to our too damn early end
Last night I looked to the sky
And I saw what looked like a light go by.
It did not linger, it did not stay
but as it went did it flicker my way?
I thought to myself, Strange! Did it really flicker to me?
Or did it flicker for all to see?
I went to bed and hard I did try
To clear my head of that flicker in the sky.
Then lo and behold, it dawned on me
Of just what that object had to be.
Another soul smiling down on me
Journeying by for all to see.
Rest in peace my friend
Rico

Julie and Bill, so sorry to hear about your loss. The loss of a parent is so traumatic. My prayer is that over time memories of him turn from tears of sadness to tears of joy. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
